Let’s Talk Openly about Endometriosis

The patient awareness meeting we organized on March 7, 2026, titled “Let’s talk openly about Endometriosis”, was an absolute success! The event took place in the packed conference hall of the Excelsior Hotel (Thessaloniki, Greece) and covered a wide range of topics related to endometriosis — from diagnosis and modern management, to the impact of endometriosis on fertility, as well as the role of the dietician, psychologist, and pelvic floor physiotherapist in patients with chronic pelvic pain.

We were honoured to receive opening speeches by the internationally renowned endometriosis surgeon prof. Horace Roman, as well as Ms. Nancy Petersen (an iconic nurse with significant contributions to the field of endometriosis worldwide) and Ms. Deborah Bush (founder of an educational programme for young girls on endometriosis in New Zealand, with wide-ranging activity in the field).

What truly stole the show, however, were the spontaneous speeches by endometriosis patients, who took the floor and shared with those present the experience of living with this chronic disease that affects 1 in 10 women.

We are truly proud of the success of this seminar, which was, of course, achieved thanks to your enthusiastic participation! We believe there is much room for improvement in patient awareness about endometriosis and, using this seminar as a springboard, we commit to similar future activities.

Our guiding principle has always been (and remains) the accurate and well-founded education of women about endometriosis, with the ultimate goal of dismantling outdated and mistaken beliefs about the disease and, ultimately, improving the care of all women who suffer from endometriosis.

If you (or someone you know) suffer from endometriosis, do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to help!
