It was my pleasure to deliver a talk, following an invitation by Professor Theodoridis Theodoros, on the topic ”Is laparoscopic treatment of adenomyosis feasible?” within the framework of the successful 4th endoscopic surgery seminar ”Gynecological Endoscopy Today”, which was organized by the Hellenic Society of Gynecological Endoscopy (HSGE). The seminar took place on 16-17 May 2025, at Papageorgiou Hospital, Thessaloniki, Greece.
At the same time, I met valuable colleagues and exchanged views and experiences on the laparoscopic treatment of endometriosis and adenomyosis.
Adenomyosis continues to be a demanding clinical entity, both in its diagnosis and treatment, especially in women who wish to preserve their uterus and fertility. However, excellent results may be achieved by appropriately trained clinicians.
